TWO COUNTING SYSTEMS.
ONE CLEAR RESULT.
US large-number units
English notation groups large numbers by thousands. One million is 1,000,000; one billion is 1,000 million; and one trillion is 1,000 billion. The converter also accepts K, M, B, and T abbreviations.
Korean large-number units
Korean notation groups large numbers by ten-thousands. 만 is 10,000, 억 is 100,000,000, 조 is 1,000,000,000,000, and 경 is 10,000,000,000,000,000.
Examples
1 billion converts to 10억. 1.1 billion—or 1.1빌리언—converts to 11억. In the opposite direction, 12억 5,000만 converts to 1.25 billion.
